omgsh. I know sooo many people have said this but this is THE BEST Sailor Moon cosplay I've seen! And I have been looking for soo long T___T Most are too "puffy" "shiny" or the skirt is too long and too high. omgsh it's perfect!
Do you have any patterns or tips on how to make a Super Sailor Moon costume? Maybe suggestions on what fabric to use? This is my first cosplay, so I really have no idea what I'm doing... >_< Any tips you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
This is one of my favorites of your photo shoot! ^-^ I can't wait to see your Wicked Lady! Have you tried the Princess Serenity costume yet? Every SM cosplayer needs to at least once
Speaking of which, I make really beautiful Moonstone and pearl Silver Imperium crystal necklaces, if you ever do, give my cosplay props page a look I've always wanted to make one for an excellent Usagi. ~CosplayPropsEtc

Wow, I would have to say this is the most successful sailor moon I've ever seen. You've got all the little details thought out. Hell, you made the wig look natural!! Amazing. Are you planning a Wicked Lady costume? Cause you mentioned making a wig on your tutorial. That would be fantastic!
I am! I have most of the materials to start it, I've started the wig. I'm making princess serenity's gown right now. I plan to eventually have a photoshoot done in both costumes and split-screen them. mother and daughter and both of them me!! lol
You'll never learn unless you try! I've been sewing for over 10 years. I pretty much just decided I wanted to make barbie clothes when I was young. And this is where I've evolved to!
Anybody can sew, you just have to do it!
Start small. Make a plushie. Make a pillow case.
Soon you'll be working from patterns, and then a whole new world is open
the great thing about sailor fuku is that you can buy a white leotard and start from there. Its fantastic and cuts down on the "OMG I HATE SPANDEX" with the attendant hair-pulling and suicide attempts. It won't completely remove the hatred of spandex... but it will cut it down ALOT.
And a note about circle skirts... yes its a circle, but the back still needs to be longer than the front to go over your hind end. so when you cut out the waist area, cut the front out a bit deeper than the back by, like, 2 inches.
